At the start of the game, a comic-book style intro tells the story of Jill Evans, her Grandma and Grandpa, and their bakery shop. The story begins with Jill’s Grandparents baking cakes and pastries in their own kitchen. With the help of Jill, their shop becomes very successful. Her Grandpa is the one who manages the shop and saves money from its earnings to send Jill to a culinary school. After she graduates, she returns home and notices that their bakery shop is closed. Somebody tells her that the bakery shop was bought by Mega-Mart from their landlord. Learning about that, Jill decides to open a bakery shop, selling cakes from her home, and eventually buying back the property from Mega-Mart and re-opening the shop.

In this game, you will play the role of Jill, delivering the perfect cakes to the customers, preparing them by choosing the right shape, flavor, toppings and decorations. After you serve a cake, you just pick up the cash and you’re done. Each customer has a set of hearts that give you an idea of how happy he is with your service. If a customer isn’t happy, he will most probably leave the shop. So make sure to keep the customers happy as long as you can because more customers will earn you more money.
Levels are separated by months starting from January. Every month you will encounter different types of customers. You will encounter special characters like Cupid in February and Santa in December. Each level has a variety of goals and you need to reach them, in order to move to the next level of the game. If by any chance you are not able to reach your goals, you need to play the same level again.
At the end of each level you can use the money you earned to upgrade your machines and to buy new tools for your shop, thus making it more beautiful and attractive to the customers. Another plus is that with more equipment, you can take more orders at the same time.
